As a matter of courtesy, the Marketplace Group will always ask your permission before sending a copy of your CV to clients. Only if we feel a vacancy is suitable for you will we forward your CV. However, we often market your details in brief to clients when looking for new opportunities which may be suitable for you but we will always ask your permission prior to adding your details.

This depends on the position for which you are applying. Everyone who registers with the Marketplace Recruitment undergoes a series of evaluations including spelling, numeracy and computer literacy. These assessments are a crucial part of the ‘getting to know you’ process and will allow us to build a detailed profile of your skills and experience. Marketplace Human Resources professionals undergo various assessments if required.
You will need to register with the Marketplace Group in order for us to get to know the type of work you are looking for. Whilst we can email you details of any suitable opportunities, our Consultants prefer to discuss these with you on a one to one basis in order to answer any questions you may have about a vacancy or temporary assignment.
During your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss in detail the type of job or assignment you are looking for, your salary expectations and the type of organisation you would prefer to work in. Our Consultants have achieved a long and established working relationship with the majority of our clients and therefore have an in-depth knowledge of their working environment. If the client is new to us, every effort is made to visit the client or when this is not possible due to geographic restrictions, a full background of the client, their working environment and job culture is obtained. By getting to know as much about our candidates and clients as possible, we are able to make more accurate ‘matches’ and recommendations.
Your Consultant will discuss any suitable vacancies or assignments with you when you register, otherwise we will be in regular contact and keep you informed of any new vacancies and assignments.
Your Consultant will start actively marketing your details for appropriate opportunities and will contact you as soon as anything suitable becomes available.
You will be briefed thoroughly prior to any interviews. We will give you as much information about the position, the responsibilities, the company, department and dress code as well as details of the salary offered and any benefits. We also provide our candidates with advice to help you prepare for interviews. We also contact both our candidates and clients following an interview to get valuable feedback from both perspectives.
An interview is a two way process allowing both the interviewer and interviewee the opportunity to get to know each other. Your Marketplace Consultant will contact you following the interview to see how it went and give you feedback from the client. Your feedback is essential to get you to the next stage of the interview process. If you have any queries or concerns, then we can advise on the most appropriate course of action. Often, if the first interview went well, a second interview will be arranged. This will probably be with a different contact within the company and will therefore require as much, if not more effort from you if you want to be offered the position or to move on to a third interview, presentation or offer of the position.
