HR Business Partner

My client who are part of a multi-national global apparel fashion group are seeking a HR Business Partner to join the team in North Watford

This part of the group are a supplier of ready-made garments and has been in Watford for over 20 years and employs 150+ people.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Creating job specs across the company and overseeing the maintenance of them and aligning with group standards
  • Interviewing when needed and assessing hiring managers interview capability and provide training where necessary to ensure best practice
  • Creation of an induction pack and management of induction process and probationary reviews
  • Develop & Implement a Talent management strategy - hire, motivate & retain
  • Develop and maintain the HR Roadmap for the Company with the guidance of the group HR Team.
  • Cascading the group increment and incentive guidelines and policy
  • Creating KPIs alongside business heads and monitoring the appraisal process
  • Creation and launch of employee well-being initiatives
  • Embedding a culture of learning and development with training packages
  • Ongoing review of Organisation Structure & Capability Building aspects
  • Producing a newsletter and management of social media presence
  • Influencing all stakeholders in upholding the Group Values across Company
  • Analysing and reporting exit interview data


  • Post Graduate in Human Resources or MBA with specialization in HR or CIPD Full / Part Qualified
  • Behaviour from Reputed Institution is desirable.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer or retail environment, Fashion/Lifestyle, or other relevant Service customer centricity driven organisations.
  • Experience in global multi-location organisations with strong 'Developmental HR’ accomplishments would be an added advantage.
